Zone A (city center) costs 100 ALL/hr on-street. For longer stays, parking lots are cheaper — 500 ALL covers up to 8 hours in Zone B.

Durrës

Zone A: 100 · Zone B: 40 ALL/hr

Parking lots: 100 ALL (0–2h), 200 ALL (2–5h), 300 ALL (5–8h), 500 ALL (12–24h). First 5 min free.

Very scarce during summer beach season. Arrive early or park away from the promenade.

Shkodër

Parking lots: 100 ALL (0–3h), 200 ALL (3–5h), 400 ALL (5–12h), 500 ALL (12–24h).

The old bazaar and city center have metered zones. Most outer streets are free.

Vlorë

50 ALL/hr

Parking lots: 50 ALL (0–1h), 100 ALL (1–2h), 300 ALL (2–5h), 400 ALL (8–12h).

Peak summer (July–August): parking near the beach fills fast. Arrive early or park further inland.

Sarandë

50–100 ALL/hr

Apr–Sep: 100 ALL/hr (~1 EUR). Oct–Mar: 50 ALL/hr (~0.50 EUR).

Book accommodation with parking in advance — street parking in the center is very limited in summer.

Berat

100–600 ALL/stay

Goricë paid lot: 100 ALL (0–3h), 200 ALL (3–6h), 300 ALL (6–8h), 600 ALL (8–24h). Monthly pass: 4,500 ALL.

Park in the lower town and walk up to the castle — the roads are too narrow for most cars.

Gjirokastër

Mostly Free

Limited designated spots near the UNESCO old town center.

The old bazaar streets are pedestrian-only. Park at designated areas near the main road.

Lezhë

Reserved parking: 36,000 ALL/year.

Lezhë is smaller and less congested than coastal cities — parking is usually straightforward.

Korçë

Towing fine for illegal parking: 4,000 ALL.

The historic pedestrian promenade area has limited parking. Use side streets or nearby lots.

Pogradec

Zone A / Tushemisht. Larger vehicles: 100–150 ALL/hr.

Lakeside parking fills up fast in summer. Arrive early for promenade spots.

P2/P3: 200 ALL (0–2h), 300 ALL (2–5h), 400 ALL (5–12h), 500 ALL (12–24h). P1: up to 1,500 ALL/day. Prices may vary by season.

Riviera Beach Lots 300–1,000 ALL/day

Himarë: 300 ALL (3h) / 700 ALL (day). Jale & Dhërmi: ~500 ALL/day. Gjipe: 300 ALL (0–12h). Up to 1,000 ALL/day at busier spots.

Ksamil (Peak Season) Up to €15/day

Central lot: 500 ALL (3h), 800 ALL (3–6h), up to €15/day. Beach lots: ~500 ALL/day. Overnight: ~1,000 ALL. Highest prices on the Riviera.

General Parking Tips

  • Never park in spots "claimed" with chairs, ropes, or markers.
  • Parking violation fine: 500 ALL minimum + 4,000 ALL if towed.
  • Outside major cities, most parking is free and informal.
  • Beware of informal "parking attendants" in tourist areas who may charge a fee.
